One with a live draft and advanced scoring (e.g., 2 QB; IDP; etc.)
One with more basic, standard scoring.
People can be in one, the other or both as they see fit.

I went over to CBS Sports and got frustrated with it, so I'm crossing them off the list. I signed in, went to go to make a league (to see what my options were), and it asked me to sign in again... lather, rinse, repeat ad infinitum.
Anyways, I made one ten-team league with some advanced scoring settings and will make another with more traditional settings later on. PM me and I'll send you the link and league name & password.

Other:
- 2 divisions, five teams each
- play each team in your division twice, each team in other division once
- roster deadline is for each respective NFL game
- No 'can't drop' list
- One day waiver length
- Waivers initially are reverse of draft order
- Waivers reset each week to inverse of league standings
- Trades require league approval with a 2-day review period
- 4 teams to veto a trade
- Trade deadline is week 13
Draft will be held online on August 30 at 8:00 pm ET. If you can't be there then (or even if you can) you can customize your draft rankings. There will be a 2-minute time limit for each selection.
If enough people want to tweak the scoring or change the draft date and time, that can be altered - but that's the settings for that league for now.
I agree keep it simple.Bro, whats up with all the tweaked rules? I know e got our own way of doing things as Pats fans, but isn't this pushing it?
Where can you mockdraft with these settings, what implications does it have etc? Why not keep "the wheel" as it is (instead of reinventing it)?
I'm down for expanded leagues (2 QBs, 3WRs/RBs etc.) but to change the scoring, not so sure.
Draft will be held online on Saturday August 31 at 4:00 pm ET. If you can't make it then you can adjust your draft ranking of players; if you don't do so and you are not there then your choices revert to the site's draft rankings. There will be a 90-second time limit for each draft pick.
Like your comments, seem fair and reasonable. And I agree, I always want to minimize the luck factor as much as possible.
One thing that I always advocate is to drop the kickers completely.
My only concern was that I am afraid this will effect the draft strategy and I have to study another system in depth in order to maximize my chances to win (I always go all in). But I'll be happy to try it out!
Which site do you use for the league? I'm doing nfl.com and espn, if it's one of them, I'm all in. :rocker:
