Focusing on last night, the defense while not great still did ok. The team is built on consistency in all three phases of the game. Last night the offense let the defense down (and the Sanders missed tackle did not help).

Maybe it was because Brady was not familiar with or confident in his receiving core. IMO the passing game will not be as effective as it was at the end of last season.
I'm not convinced the problem in the passing game is the recievers, maybe the play calling is a little too conservative.
