Hey all,

So I'm coming from Maine planning to go to Jets Thursday nighter and Giants Monday nighter. It's a pain getting out of that parking lot, was thinking of taking train from south station to the game and then staying somewhere. Anyone got suggestions for staying over without paying a fortune? I see there are places by Gilette but they're like a grand.

The last two games I attended I was out of the area after the game in like 30-40 minutes from the game ending. I pay the $60 and park in 3A, 3B or 3C and it hasnt been an issue. As for lodging there are numerous Holiday Inns within 10 minutes of the stadium. I have stayed at a couple and they were decent for about $200 a night.

grab a tent, head to Canoe River Campground in Mansfield or the Normandy Farms Campground on west st in Foxboro... easy peasy, comparatively cheap even if you have to gear up and, unless its raining, not a bad way to spend a night or two

grab a tent, head to Canoe River Campground in Mansfield or the Normandy Farms Campground on west st in Foxboro... easy peasy, comparatively cheap even if you have to gear up and, unless its raining, not a bad way to spend a night or two

we’ve done normandy before was trying to avoid having to leave the parking lot late at night. but it did work well we camped out in my friends ambulance that he turned into an apartment

I worked at Normandy as a kid such a great place. Family owned and very nice people. Great amenities and great place to bring a family. Not quite close enough to the stadium though I'm sure it's still a good place to stay for games.

As far as a decent hotel within walking distance that has the best chance to not be outrageously over priced. I recommend the home 2 suites. I believe it's technically Walpole but it's right at that intersection just north of the stadium near the McDonald's and Papa Ginos. Easy walk.

The 2 hotels actually on Gillette campus I think go for like a thousand a night on game day I'm guessing the home 2 suites is probably just under 500.

The other places near by are crappy motels and just a touch rank to put it lightly.

I think a new one is being built a little further north on rte 1 too so new option coming. But this one is a touch further than I'd want to walk but still doable. Couple years away though.

Good to know. Its current on their website but it has been a couple years since my last trip.

Basically, if you aren't a season ticket holder who pre-bought a pre-paid parking pass ($300), your only options are free parking across Route 1 or private lots. You could also park in one of the two "BE PAID" parking lots (they give each car a $40 gift card on arrival) but you have to stay in those lots for 75 minutes after the game ends - which is fine if you tailgate after the game. This lot must be pre-booked a week or two prior to the game as it fills up.

Boutte is going back home. He’s ready to be a difference maker. Maybe he gets more yards receiving than Diggs.

I was thinking of staying at the home 2 suites but decided to probably stay closer to Boston, as we'll be doing some of the sights on Monday.

I was thinking of staying at the home 2 suites but decided to probably stay closer to Boston, as we'll be doing some of the sights on Monday.

Go early, toss a couple folding chairs in the car, grab some snacking stuffs, bring a grill, even a cheap one... tailgating, even if its just a hamburger or hot dog, is an essential part of the Gillette Stadium experience...

If you're going to park in the "Be Paid" lots, be sure to reserve as soon as those parking passes are offered. I think it's the week before the game. That lot fills up quickly. Also, since you have to stay 75 minutes after the game ends, bring tailgating stuff for after the game.
