What I find fascinating is that shortly after the trade became publicly known a lot of the beat writers started to point out how Collins was known for his "freelancing". I generally follow the Patriots pretty close and that's the first time I heard about it in a negative way.

Makes you appreciate what a tight ship they are running over there. Because if this was an issue that was more widely known then all of today wouldn't have come as such a big surprise..

I want Curran to have Jerrod Mayo break down all of Collins 2016 plays and tell me how many times he did something he wasn't supposed to.

The same source that Mike Loyko used to get the 11 million per offer to Collins & the locker room argument with Patricia & BB says that Collins was going to sign but he was negotiating with the counter offer of a Von Miller contract. Hesays Collins had just started construction on a new house in Canton, MA (I have no idea where that is). Collins was blindsided by the trade.
