Now, we can back out of this after this year without those cap hits in 24 onwards, am I reading that right? This is what his cap hit looks like :
J.C. Jackson | NFL Contracts & Salaries | Spotrac.com
J.C. Jackson signed a 5 year, $82,500,000 contract with the Los Angeles Chargers, including $25,000,000 signing bonus, $40,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $16,500,000.www.spotrac.com
9 Million this year and 14 million for the remaining 3 years. A big chunk of the package was the signing bonus (40 mill) which the Chargers suck up. Doesnt sound too bad if he plays like the old JC.
Good move if that's the case.
