Mike Lombardi really talked up this guy on 98.5 today. He talked about how smart he is and how he doesn't bite on QB fakes. Lombardi thinks he will be a major asset in the red zone.
If they can get him to tackle, it's a nice move for the Patriots. He's much better in coverage than in the box, and he'd rather hit than wrap up. Two coaching staffs have been unable to get him to step up with this.
But, just as with Pollard, it may be that a change of address, rather than just a change of coaching, is what's needed to kick him into gear.
