Pats sign Maurice Harris, former Skins WR

Not huge expectations but he's only been in the league 3 years and his third was really the only one he had contributions as a WR. If he just developes a little bit more he could win a spot.

Took a look at his pro day numbers. Nothing particularly interesting aside from the...wait for it...3 cone which is pretty good for his size although not spectacular by any stretch.

Interesting that the article refers to him as “sticky-fingered” as he’s supposed to be a sure handed catcher.

They just don't believing in overpaying for players like every other team that hasn't been in 50% of the Super Bowls since 2000

I think what is alarming people about this free agency vs. others is that clearly the patriots have been trying to get better at WR and things haven’t worked out...

We reportedly had interest in:
- Tate
- Humphrey
- Antonio Brown
- OBJ (last year at least)
- Amendola (rumored)

So clearly the pats have TRIED to add WR depth but it just hasn’t worked out.

This actually might be a decent and sneaky under the radar signing. He has size which should help in the red zone. There’s most definitely still a need there but for the likely dollars, this isn’t bad.

Looking good so far. I need some W’s to make up for the L I’m holding from 2018.
