Yep, and by all accounts one of the best-loved guys in the locker room.

And the worst thing is that they cut him and put Izzo on IR for Chad Hanson and Amare Darboh. [Whoever convinced BB to put a waiver claim on Darboh should have been fined if not fired.]

With Bolden back, do we still keep other STer's like McClellin, Humber, and King?

Maybe. But lose Burkhead. Hulksmash Bolden is an upgrade and he's more verstaile.

IIRC he's also personally very close with Brady and they have an Edelman/Branch-type ESP mind-meld relationship on the field.

Add in the fact that he is a prototype Belichick-type grinder and great lockerrom presence and you have one of those superb "Swiss-Army Knife" moves here by the Patriots.

I love every angle of this addition.

I liked Darboh, but I don't know if anyone realized the medicals when they claimed him. I wanted him in the draft, and if he can stay healthy, I still think he has a shot to be productive.

Why would anyone complain about this move? He's a terrific special teamer, and they needed improvement there. He's a decent 4th RB. Clearly loved by his teammates, he's a great locker room guy (by all accounts). A leader. A guy you can count on. The price will be minimal. What's not to like about this?

Great to have Bolden back, should've never left. I wonder if they will be so cavalier trying to cut and resign him to **** around with the 53 cut like they were last year.
