I went with Jason Pierre-Paul, we need a pass rush. Kindle's another option.

I think the Miami pick really screwed the pooch early on this mock.

This is one the best mocks I've seen.

I went with Kindle.

Looks to me the talent runs out at 21.

Great.

I just hope that Pierre-Paul goes early to some team.

What?!?!?!

I meant all the guys I really wanted.

Kindle could be a second round value.

In most of the other mocks, at least one of the guys that no one ever lists in the second round are available.

I eliminate JPP because I don't believe in him.

Kindle is the best choice at 22, but I don't think it's a great value pick.

Where have you seen him valued in the second? I've only seen him valued mid- to late-first round.

Looking closely at all the fans that like Pouncey, I realized that the Patriots may be looking at this guy seriously.

If Belichick determines a huge upgrade is needed at center, he may do it. If a center allows Brady a lot more time to step up into the pocket, that changes things significantly for this team.

Over at hailredskins.com, you'll find plenty of mocks that have him going in the second. he's also second round value in many rankings.

Our situation is similar to last year. We have a fine OG/C available who can backup at three positions and start at any when needed in 2010 or 2011. We passed on Eric Wood last year, and we will pass on Pouncy this year.

The general assessment is that we have much more serious needs than the interior line where we have three solid experienced 2010 starters, and a couple of prospects for 2011 in addition.

So if Pouncey is higher ranked on BB's draft board than any players that fill those other more pressing needs, does BB pass on Pouncey for those other players?

Wow, I really like how that is unfolding.. But I hate to be a downer but I'm scratching my head here

12 Miami WR Dez Bryant

Did this draft start before the news?

But my pick is Kindle... But Pouncey would be my second pick.. He looks like a beast and with everyone in the AFC east switching to a 3-4, we need a big Center

I went with Pouncey. Brady was under too much pressure last year.

Why do we need a big center? Do you really think Pouncey can handle a 3-4 NT one on one. If you look back at last year, Mt. Cody beat both the Pouincey twins like dogs in the SEC championship game all by his self. Cody sent both twins home crying. It was ugly by half time and got even worse.
