Off topic but tangentially related is just how strong Josh Norman's season has been:

Pretty darn impressive.

And it only took 4 seasons to mature. What would you dimwit geniuses have spouted in the meantime? You would have run him out of town, long since.

Brown- 9/133 yards (2 rec 25 yards in garbage time)
Beckham- 4/104 (87 came on 1 play that McCourty messed up on. He was targeted 12 times)
Hopkins- 3/52
Marshall- 4/67
Robinson- 4/68 (37 came on 1 rec in garbage time)
Thomas- 1/36 (targeted 12 times)
Hilton- 6/74 (30 came when Pats went into prevent up 2 TD and 2 minutes left in the game)
Landry- 6/71 (30 came on the drive before HT)
So really Antonio Brown is the only top WR we have faced that got us good the whole game.

Not bad at all.

haha, Davis is sure having a great year in Denver with his 196Y and 0 TDS. A real master trade.

They barely gave up anything for him. So I wouldn't call it a bad trade. But it's fun to see people point at a guy with not even 200Y and scream "we could have had him!"

I wouldn't. I'm one of the one's always saying that we should give players a chance before rushing to judgement. I'm a firm believer that rookie contracts are 4/5 years and that rookies shouldn't be judged prematurely.

Those people are wrong. Defense has been tested more than last year and has done better. This defense is better than last year's in every area, including the secondary.

I would argue we faced better QBs last year.

NFL.com site has landry and Hilton much lower in terms of ranking them by YPG

Landry at #26 and Hilton at 18...now some are Tes ahead of them..but not many.

It has them at the right yards per game that's posted
