He may be moved back to RT if Wynn is moved. We'll have to wait and see. From his move to G after a successful rookie season as T. I should have said he doesn't play Tackle primarily anymore.

Um, it might not be the best news to hear that youre being moved to RT. Wynns problems are at pass blocking where LTs earn the big money. I am 6 foot and Willie Roaf towered over me. I would really have my work cut out for me blocking a DE his size. He’s an eighth of an inch shorter than Kelvin Beachum, who was a 7-year starter at LT before switching over to RT the last two seasons with the Cardinals.
No it’s based upon his career to date, including injuries. Btw the last 2 seasons he played 79% of the games. That is based on the operating belief Wynn actually starts ~80% of the games.
Who says they are done trading?
Dallas might be desperate.
Josh Ball has been their Cajuste. Hurt all of last year and hasn't been great in preseason. Hes their backup swing tackle.
I'd start with a 3rd and assume responsibility for paying out all $10.4m of Wynn's salary. Jerruh will obviously want to chisel. I'd be OK w/ a 4th or a 5th and DAL takes 75% of Wynn's $.
Getting a 4th/5th and $7m in cap space is a good deal for us.
If we can get a 3rd for Wynn and if Dallas would take on his salary, I think it's a no brainer. Getting that is going to be challenging in my opinion. I believe he'll be here when the season starts. If we were ever able to get a 2nd, BB would make that trade in a second.Make LV and Dallas fight for Wynn and drive up the price. Hopefully we can land at least a 3rd. A 2nd if one of those teams is really desperate.

The Cowboys have not made any move like that with Smith at this point, but Rapoport reports that he won’t be able to return until December if he is able to return at all. The Cowboys could keep the door open by waiting until after the cut to 53 players to put Smith on injured reserve, but any move before that would eliminate the chance of playing again this year.

The best tackle in the league not named Trent Williams is also undersized and often injured but I doubt most here don't even know his name. Injuries suck.Yeah and Beachum was considered a small prospect, but still bigger than Wynn

Can you please tell me which injuries Wynn has that are chronic?
I’m not trading a starter on the hope that maybe I can trade for a replacement and throw him on the field without being in camp. They can make other trades without giving away a starter for basically nothing.
What I am hearing on other sources is that wynn is reluctant to play at RT and hence the disgruntling . Probably being a contract year he wants to play at a position that he is comfortable with so that he can perform better and get a big pay day.
Playing at RT possibly is better for the team , but Wynn is struggling and feels he will lose out on his next pay day and wants either a contract extension or playing at LT.
And what I am hearing is people want us to eat 5 million of his cap space and get some 6tg rounder in trade value.
If that's the case just keep up with Wynn, reason with him and if he doesn't budge, ask him to find a trade partner who will absorb his cap, else just make him sit on bench as a LT backup. It's a costly mistake but we can learn from it.
No way anyone would want to trade him ..we might need to eat 5 million cap space to trade him or provide a 3rd rounder to trade him at his contract now.
He is gonna be stuck with us unless we have a contender team lose their starting tackle and their backups are super mediocre ...
Trade might happen during season and not now..
Even a backup tackle who does not get injured every other game would be a big plus in terms of OL continuity compared to Wynn.Who cares which injuries are chronic or not? You consider Wynn reliable and good. I don't.
Patriots signed 34y/o Brian Waters on the eve of the season and he did fine. Even so if they find a solid vet who has a track record of reliability and consistent performance and he needs a week to get up to speed then fine.
Shaq was a cap move and he approaching new deal time. They were able to sign players with the space they realized. Now he was durable.Even a backup tackle who does not get injured every other game would be a big plus in terms of OL continuity compared to Wynn.
I will be happy to see him go. BB has repeatedly said availability to play is more important than talent. It's not like Wynn is anything more than an average LT.
I do not understand why they did not keep Shaq Mason and trade Wynn earlier in the season.
Player or pick?Trade Wynn to Dallas now that Smith is out for pretty much the year. I want Onwenu at RT.
I understand what you're saying, but then who do we put at RG? I was hoping Hines was the guy, but he got off to a late start, none of the other backups inside seem to have stepped up.Trade Wynn to Dallas now that Smith is out for pretty much the year. I want Onwenu at RT.
I think it makes sense for the Pats to deal Wynn because he's not going to be here long term. I would also be in favor of them using some of the extra picks they have already acquired to fill that RG spot. I think the Pats would get a better return compared with what it would cost (3rd for Wynn, 4th for a quality RG prospect).I understand what you're saying, but then who do we put at RG?
