Pats file complaint against the Colts

Damn, more gimmicks. What's it been, 5 years now? Law of averages says eventually they'll stop working.

The only thing that would be better would be if the Pats ask the competition committee for a new rule or "point of emphasis" regarding the behavior of visiting clubs to home stadium/club staff.

Of course, that may be the last straw that goads Polian to try to ban snow (as Tedy said after the playoff buttwhoopin'.)

Yeah, and on Indystar 1 in 3 posters has likely slept with his sister. The bottom of the barrel might as well be Mt. Everest relative to that place.

What's the over/under of the combined number of teeth of the posters?

Wonder how Polian's body language is now?

He's probably rolling steel balls in his hands muttering about, " the strawberries, who ate the strawberries???"

Just my $0.02,

this is fantastic, keep going please.

What an old, pruned, senile piece of trash.

Pruned-up old sack of garbage that just looks like he reeks of Blackberry Brandy

******* pig.

Really, the NEMpolian posts are over the top - Translation: I'm recovering from a trip to OR and the laughter hurt my owie.

Align me with those loving this unconditionally!

This just made my day!!! Priceless!! Maybe the Pats will outfit all their stadium personnel in full pads and helmets for game day!!

"I think the house of cards in Foxboro is about to crumble."

Half the Colts fans would give their left testicle for the three SB rings this "house of cards" has produced.

The other half would give their right testicle.

This is hilarious, but it also forces me stop and thank the football gods that Polian is running Indy. And I hope his various controversies don't force him to step down.

Think about it... this is the classic guy who is pretty good at what he does but whose approach holds him back from ever actually winning the big one, absent a huge dollop of luck. He built the Bills in the 80s, the ultimate "almost but not quite" team with 4 losing SB appearances. And as much as Manning gets deservededly dissed, if Polian can figure out how to put a good defense in place to back him up they probably win a SB along the way, perhaps at the Patriots' expense.

Thanks Mr Polian!

hmmm....

Caligula riding a donkey comes to mind.

Haha, anything to look Polian look like a piece of crap. Go Pats!!!

This is pretty funny. Of all the rule changes, field condition complaining, etc etc etc that the Colts have persued to obviously try to get over the Patriots-hump the only official retort the Pats have lodged is THIS. haha. It's just too hilarious for words. Classic.

I, for one, cannot wait for the BB press conference today. PLEASE let someone ask him about this!!!

i may be in the minority here but i wish the pats had just ignored polian and his antics...we dont want to be like him...

I heard the Pats also requested the league impose a 15-yard unsportsman-like conduct penalty for "annoying QB facial expressions." Heretofore known as "The Manning Rule."

Wouldn't there be a restraining order in a situation like this?

Like he couldn't get within 1000 feet of the pressbox?

That would be great, Polian has to watch the game from the hotel

According to a FoxSports.com report earlier this month, Polian was upset because he felt loudspeakers were positioned too close to the field. In the course of speaking to a Jets employee in a tunnel leading to the field, Polian grabbed the employee by the lapels of his jacket and pushed him against a wall.

This is the definition of irony: polian complaining about speakers being too close to the field, when it's indy who's been (allegidly) pumping crowd noise into the RCA Dome

Is anyone as excited as I am to hear BB comment on this during his next press conference. That will be priceless.

"Well, it is what it is. You know. I mean the guy does a lot of things well. He complains well, punches well, pounds desks well. We're just trying to prepare for him the best way we know how. Thats all I care about."

"I think the house of cards in Foxboro is about to crumble. I'm about to pick the Jets to win that division [edit: Shmessy still trying to recover from choking on his tongue here]. The Pats are a paper tiger in my eyes right now. I think they were lucky to work out a gimmick to get by the Bengals. Good for them. It'll take more than a gimmick to get by the 2006 Colts. I think they should brace themselves for embarrassment.

Ya the JETS are gonna win the east! And we beat the bungles on a gimmick? somebody remind me, what was the score?

This game is gonna be great, mabey if we meet the dolts in the playoffs (at the razor) then we bring out the restraining order before the game

this is right off PFT

interview with Polian.
It gets hilarious halfway through.

I usually can't stand things like this but this is DEFINITELY worth listening to.

Thanks, this interview is def worth listening to. Polian throwing the O-line under the bus was classic, even manningesque! My favorite part was Polian ballwashing manning and telling them that he carries no blame for losing--it's always someone else's fault. Makes you think though, if this is how indy talks to him it's no wonder he has the kind of mentality he does.

That's the general rule . . . the specific rule that Polian thinks is horse crap is the "having a horse faced quaterback rule". The Colts were penalized two furlongs. Peyton kept yelling "Neighhhhhh". A confused Polian screamed "Break his leg! Break his leg!"

It'll all be in Peyton's next commercial.

There was a much better Polian interview from Mike and the Mad Dog when the Colts were 12-0 last year. He said they were going to rest players and avoid injuries because injuries had cost them every playoff game during the Manning era and then broke it down - "We were missing Mathis against the Pats" " a LB was hurt against the Jets", etc. The Mad Dog went crazy on him - "Bill, you got blown out in those games. 1 LB caused you to lose 41-0? A pass rusher is the reason you got 3 points in NE?" It was classic.
