Pats claim WR Michael Floyd

I'm disappointed, tough, with the overwhelming enthusiasm, although not really surpise.

Michael Floyd is a Young man that put himself and, perhaps more importanly, other in danger.

When the Cowboy to this kind of stuff, they are called on that. The same should happen here.

I hope he is looking into changing his behavior, everyone deserves another chance, I'm just thinking it shouldnt happen so soon after the marquee fact (less than 2 weeks)

Alan Branch says hi

That's a passive aggressive troll post but if it makes you feel better have it. I'm not sensitive as you. Like I said yesterday they will do what they will do.

No, it's a laugh at the silliness of earlier posts, and there wasn't really anything passive about it.

Wasn't Floyd just passed out in the drivers seat? I don't think he even drove. Could be wrong, but that's just what I got from it.
Not up to par on the incident. That would make it better, IMO.

But he has bad behaviour. The consensus in Arizona is that he doesnt really try hard.

Hey, maybe it's all a mistake...

Then that's a whole different story.

Im fine with this.

I'm putting my high horse in the garage.

If he has a couple of big 3rd down catches in the playoffs it's worth it.

We don't know how hobbled DA really is or how well he'll play upon his return.

I don't care. I want #5.

Make no mistake, Michael Floyd is a moron for endangering his life and others. As a result of said mistake, he now finds himself in a better place on a SuperBowl contending team. Doesn't sound like much a punishment does it?

The reality is that NFL players make enough money that losing your driving privileges for a month and a 10-15k fine doesn't teach them anything. You need a strong support system and guidance which is something that the Patriots organization has. Michael has every opportunity to learn 'the right way' here and is probably the best move for him as a person.

Then that's a whole different story.
Is it? Or is part of his psychology? If he is careless outside the facility, it can affect performance.

I remember Gron saying in a interview that BB approached him and asked if those parties weren't a distraction.

He said that they made him work harder (and he doesnt do it during the season).

I wouldnt be so quick to judge it "whole other story"

Amendola on the shelf
Hogan tending to get a bit nicked up
Whalen the previous alternative

You have to go hunting for a downside, so many of you should be turning your radios to 98.5.

But then that's not a Cowboy type move. Having work ethic issues is a whole different problem from being a criminal who abuses women, or anything else that just flat out makes him a bad dude.

Jamie Collins had work ethic issues, wasn't a criminal. (unless you considered his distorted Mickey Mouse hairdo a crime. )

With only 3 games left, I doubt there's time to integrate him into our system.

But you never know....

Plenty of time.
He will probably not play Sunday.
Starting next week, he will be in specific packages, say 4 wides only, and will have a limited set of plays and routes. That will get expanded the following week, then during the bye week he can get further up to speed.

This guy isn't going to be catching 8 balls a game, but he can be an effective 3/4 but more importantly insurance against a WR injury, which looked like a scary thought yesterday.

Don't we have the last shot at him. That means nobody was interested except us lol. Whalen and him now claimed in the last 2 weeks

They released Whelan to claim Floyd supposedly. Part of this is a head scratcher because of the situation at PR and KR where Cyrus Jones seems have the yips. 5 fumbles in all this season is not good. For whatever reason, he supposedly is excellent in practice.. He just loses focus in games..
