After my post last week, someone suggested I duplicate it every week for good luck, so what the hell.

Because.......ITS WHAT THEY DO.

I'm expecting another strong defensive effort, but this one may see some garbage time yards and points tossed up there.
I expect us to throw early, build a lead, then run late.
Off to the bye at 6-2.

I would prefer we run early vs a struggling SD run def and protect Brady. On defense force old side arm rivers to throw outside vs over the middle where he makes a living with Allen and his TEs. Pats win lower scoring then people may think.

Running early allows them to overcommit to covering their weakness. If we have success throwing then we run into a weak run d that is playing honest.
If we run early we live in 3rd down conversions.
There pass rush is a much bigger issue on 3rd and 6 than 1st and 10 or 2nd and 5.

You don't call the same play twice in a row and expect it to work.

How many points did ITS WHAT THEY DO score last week?

I guess they lost to the Chiefs and Panthers because you failed to post.... got it.

It's what they do, the 2017 equivalent to the battle of 2014's iconic war cry we're onto Cincinnati.

Thank you, Captain Obvious!

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if the defense took a bit of a step back in this game because of Hightower’s season-ending injury. Harris will likely play well again, but Hightower’s loss may be a big one over the course of one week from a morale standpoint. He’s a true leader of the defense. I don’t think it will look like anything as bad as that turd they coughed up against Seattle last year, but we may see some lapses that we otherwise haven’t seen over the last two weeks.

I am expecting our pass defense to continue to look good. Gilmore will be back and it won't miss a beat.

No.

ITS WHAT THEY DO didn't score a single point, and had nothing to do with the game.
On the contrary. THey did what they do in that game it scored 23 and allowed 7.
If they were the bengals that wouldn’t have happened.
