i get it. it also sends a message to the other guys who might be, for lack of a better term, bat **** crazy - that it won't be tolerated...

I personally would have sat his ass down, suspended him for the balance of the season, and then tried to get another team to bite in the off-season. eh, BB felt otherwise, and i don't hold it against him

Lets face it, we knew this day was coming the moment the x-ray machine at the airport picked up the contents of his “personal” carry-on bag. The only surprise being that it took this long especially since there were some issues last year as well. My guess is the player probably wanted a “get out of jail free card” (no pun intended) and was very pleased to hear about his release.

Too bad Jones is such a headcase. He definitely showed promise last year, but he is definitely not good enough for teams to put up with his drama and issues.

I hope the kid gets his head on straight and turns his life and career around, but something tells me he will disappear from the NFL and the only way we will ever hear from him again is on the news with him being involved in another criminal act.

It's worth taking a chance on a talented player in the 4th rd. It didn't work with Aaron Hernandez nor with Jones. It doesn't mean it will never work.

It worked with hernandez early on.. as he was a phenomenal athlete.. of course sadly we know what happened. Jack has really done nothing in the league..

Belichick is more muscular and toned than this guy. Makes for a hilarious fight scene with Prime Schwarzenegger.
