Yup, anything makes an offense or defense more versatile is a good thing. I think that’s one of the reasons the Pats were willing to draft Sony in the 1st - he was known as a pass catcher in college too. For whatever reason he never was able to establish himself on that front in the pros, and his being on the field generally telegraphed a running play, the same as it did with Blount, Ridley, and Green-Ellis before him. It would be awesome if Harris, Stevenson, or both could wind up doing it.
