That kick looked like it would’ve been good from 70 plus, geez.

But that kid sounds a lot like Zuerlein when he first got in the league.That was great performance by Nordin. I think he's the one...but not to sure we would get anything for Folk.
I wouldn’t worry about Henry. He’s a damned good TE. He will be a beast in tandem w/Smith. LaCosse is playing for a spot on another team. I’m more impressed by Fumigalli.Also, interesting to hear so much about LaCosse. I had him all but gone by the first cutdown, but sounds like he's showing up as well as Henry so far. Which is worrisome for Henry and his huge $$.
The fact you cite Zolak at Beetle multiple times in posts doesn't help your credibility....or what little you have.That's just it, though. Pretty much everyone but Zolack and Bedard was saying that Newton's looked improved and more consistent, and that Mac's not been able to even keep pace, much less gain ground. Now, after just the last two practices, the narrative has shifted. But we're still just one practice away from a bunch of reporters flipping right back to "Cam's the starter!".
Are the reporters just out of practice? Are they just displaying their ignorance about the game? Or are they jumping on things that suit their biases and agendas? I leave that for everyone to determine for themselves.
Just wondering Deus, which one is you?OMG! It's over! Mac is 100% certain to be the starter!
FIFYI don’t believe that Belichick wants to start Newton this season, but Jones seems to be making it a tough decision for him.
Mac had been holding his own and wasn't that far behind Cam. Media kept saying Mac had to win in a landslide or Cam was presumptive starter. Well it looks like the land is starting to slideThat's just it, though. The Patriots have scored a touchdown against the Patriots, which is good news for the Patriots and bad news for the Patriots in this not-at-all-confusing Patriots-Patriots scrimmage*. (*Not-competitive walkthrough.)
Undrafted rookie Quinn Nordin was 10 of 10 on his kicks tonight, including 57- and 55-yarders on the final two possessions, and he just drew a handshake and a smile from Bill Belichick.
Jonnu Smith says he learned to run over people with the football in the churchyard. …is that allowed? “Absolutely. God forgives.”
The Quarterback Report is up. Mac Jones handled how many more reps than Cam Newton? Why did Bill Belichick pull Jones aside mid-practice? What was it that made Jones the clear winner today? All here.
Who has the best mullet on the team?
@dandrews61: “Me
” Who’s your competition?
@dandrews61: “No one.”
