They can carry 6 WRs (plus Slater) because how many RBs will they carry, especially if Montgomery isn't back?

It's not "all about mobility", but it's certainly nice to have a Wildcat option in the bag. Cunningham could play WR one play and then on the next play, with no substitutions, he lines up at QB with Mac split out. That's more dangerous than having a RB take that snap.
Is Mahomes mobile? Allen? Jackson? Watson? He'll even burrow can run when needed. While I definitely agree with u on Cunningham.. mobile QBs that have accuracy are what the league is now. All those great QBs I've mentioned are just that GREAT becuase they are accurate and Mobile.

Talking QB mobility, there's 4 levels: RB ability, escapability, pocket mobility, and unexceptional. Jackson, Fields, Allen, Hurts, and Watson have RB ability. Mahomes, Prescott, Murray, Purdy, Daniel Jones, and Wilson have above average escapability. That's what I'd call the top 11 in terms of mobility.

Then there's Burrow, Herbert, Lawrence, Rodgers, and Tua who are all very good at pocket movement (Brady was in that group), and there are other good QB's that aren't exceptionally mobile: Cousins, Stafford, Geno, Goff, Jimmy G, & Carr. Of those 11, you can win a SB with most of them, and some are top-8 QB's even though they're well into the teens in terms of mobility (see SI's top-10 QB list).

So I reiterate that mobility isn't everything.

Mac hasn't yet shown his mobility, he's no better than Goff or Stafford based on what he's done so far. But he's got a lot more mobility than he's shown, and I think it will come out this year.

Mapu will take care of him. He's going to be kryptonite for the mobile QBs.
Love it! I like what mapu brings.. guys all over the field with the first team defense.. talk about a multiple defense we have.. we have so many guys that can line up everywhere.. we pro have the most intercha defense in the league..

Hmmm.. Mac can move better than Goff, Stafford and burrow add cousins in that mix too. I believe Mac is more mobile than all of them.. I agree.. when plays break down he'll tuck the rock and run..

If Danny Woodhead can do blitz pickup, Douglas can

D Woodhead was in his 3rd year when the Pats picked him up. Not equivalent to the Douglas situation. There are exceptions to the general rule, but while Douglas is learning all the plays and route combinations, adding all of the RB responsibilities would be an overload IMO. In a year or two from now Douglas could switch to RB like Woodhead, sure that is possible, but I still think doubtful. Douglas will want to be a WR for health and contract $$ considerations.
