Boutte has been making a push lately. Thornton is in because he was a 2nd round pick and his speed is off the charts. Bourne could be traded if they think Boutte is the next big thing.

I think Tre Nixon have two 40yds play one from Mac the other from Zappe: Nixon is flashing deep speed.

How do we get from limited on 8/3 to IR on a month?
There is no such thing as foxboro flu, and if there were it would be stupid. No player gains by sitting out of football. Thornton was a high pick, big prospect with a unique skill set who played a lot when healthy.
Why would they give up on him because he us limited part of the first week of camp? That makes no sense.

Yeah, I can see that. I think it's a question of how long he stays limited and how much they want to try to stash Boutte (if he keeps on this trajectory).

K Bourne is having a Strong Camp and Mac is comfortable with Him I have refrained from thinking about Trading him.

IMO he's either not injured or it's minor. He's played in 13 NFL games and Boutte has had maybe 1-2 good days of camp...that's it. I think it's a world of difference. Douglas may be the real deal in the slot but Boutte has a way to go.

Could it be both? They’re not strangers to each other are they? Maybe they know how to work together cooperatively instead of vying for prominence.
