I think we can kick some old tired names out, Wade being one. Also Tre Nixon was dropping passes early in camp, he was dropping passes at the end of preseason last year and before that. I think the experiment is over.

Nixon did just beat Marcus Jones clean on a TD yesterday didn’t he?
However I agree I can’t see Nixon cracking the lineup.

That Jalen Hurd kid ends up on IR I would be so pissed why did we even touch him guy made all his NFL $$$$ on IR.

He is a big talented kid, if he stays healthy you could have something.
I know it’s a big IF.

Glad the back-ups are getting work but if Stueber or Hines can't beat out McDermott or Reiff we have problems.

McDermott should make the team as a swing tackle at least, he can play both tackle positions and can play well. His only weakness is weakness, he isn't strong enough.

I want to hear more about Sow, Mafi, Russey and Jake Andrews even if he wasn't there today.... I want to hear about the talented youngsters.

It's concerning that Calvin Anderson isn't out there, he might be like other guys they brought in with good promise who we never got to see play. It would be nice to know what's up with him.

Zappe is having a really good camp the QB competition might be closer than we think it should make everybody better.

His problem has been drops at inopportune times, he has shown the ability to get open... he can't hang onto balls.

QB competition

Any "QB competition" was over before it started. You can't beat an alpha like Mac when all you can bring to the table is soy boy beta male energy.

I don't know. He has been inconsistent from what I have seen. He had a great day yesterday. According to Mark Daniels, he only completed 50% of his passes today. But it is training camp. Can't read too much into it.

But Zappe is getting no reps with the 1s. And Jones seems to be having a pretty good camp. Doesn't look to be any competition going on at all.

Douglas is our #4 WR right now Tyquan is out 5th.

Tyquan is a different type of player. He will like get lots of snaps on the outside, because of his speed and deep threat. Douglass will mix in with ,juJu, and Bourne.
