Feels that way. I think you can keep Douglas as a 5th WR because he can bring some value to ST. So (at the moment), Bourne, Thornton, and Boutte are fighting for two spots.

IF Boutte looks the Part I could see possible Bourne Trade during TC.

No. Douglas looks great but hadn’t made the team yet. If you pencil him in the Boutte is competing against players in different position groups to have us keep 6 WRs.

Agree but damn Thornton has not looked good. Boney Maroney needs to step it up

It’s possible Boutte beats out Thornton or Thornton or Boutte go on IR to start the season.
Preseason will be really interesting.

I think we'll see a lot of vets getting rest, especially in areas where the team has rookie or 2nd/3rd year players who need to earn roster spots by getting reps, also where vets are in contract years or expect a raise.

Trent Brown, Judon, Rhamondre... these guys don't need fully padded reps as much as they need simple conditioning. The kids need reps.

I'm not penciling him in yet. I just don't think he and Boutte are really competing for the same role.

Zappe is having a really good camp the QB competition might be closer than we think it should make everybody better.

Bolden is fast (4.3 forty), he's tall... I hope he makes the team as a gunner/return man.

They could use some more size in the CB room besides Gonzalez as well, whether it's Bolden or Speed.

I had Douglass beating Boutte out on draft day. No offense to Boutte lovers, but he had too many red marks on him.

Glad the back-ups are getting work but if Stueber or Hines can't beat out McDermott or Reiff we have problems.

I had high hopes for Wade.

I think we can kick some old tired names out, Wade being one. Also Tre Nixon was dropping passes early in camp, he was dropping passes at the end of preseason last year and before that. I think the experiment is over.

IF that Jalen Hurd kid ends up on IR I would be so pissed why did we even touch him guy made all his NFL $$$$ on IR.
