It's great to read that he still has this burst ability despite packing on 20+ pounds of muscle over the offseason. Rookies aren't even typically able to bulk up so much in their first year - usually that tends to come in year 2.

I've been hyping Demario since the draft, he's got the juice. Would be surprised if he didn't make the roster. Might even be game-day active and rotate in. Their mix of players at receiver (including the TEs) is pretty diverse, even if none of them are game-breakers.
We know Troy knows the position well but would also be cool if Edelman visits and gave a few pointers as well.

Good to see some back and forth now between the offense and defense. That's usually the best sign for the team (as much as you can say at this time of camp anyway).

What will be interesting to watch tomorrow once the pads come on is the run game. That was the first sign that something was really wrong with the whole operation last year: Every report was just the run game getting stuffed over and over. If they can be more effective at that, it bodes well that the offense will have a base level of functionality to build on as they go.

Seems Zappe is keeping pace with reps with Mac. I'd love to see it with my own eyes to see if there could be a potential competition here. I don't love hearing that Mac's completions are mostly to Rham in the live 11 reps.
And, is Parker completely invisible? If all he can do is sideline/corner jump balls that is not good.

Maybe it’s time to bring the old user name Zappe Hour back?
Interesting Thorntons Tds came from Zappe.
I’m telling you Mahommes loves the kid he has moxie he isn’t going away quietly.

However I’m a fan of the Patriots and I trust Bill O Brein will put the best player forward whether it’s Bailey, Mac, or someone else.

If Jack Jones gets past this stupid gun thing, it'll be great for the Patriots. Imagine if Gonzo rolls out on wk 1 and locks it down as well as DMac his rookie year. And, we have Jack & Jon to rep outside with Jon and Marcus to rotate at slot.
Also, starting to get excited about Pop at slot/flex WR.
And, trying not to get excited about TT getting more involved.

Douglas has just “wowed” everyone so far this preseason. I know it’s early and people will say “pump the breaks” but can’t help getting the vibe of a late round steal from the kid. Talking about “making the most with the reps given?” He’s a prime of example of that term right now.

I don’t want to pump the brakes on Douglas. I dismissed this draft pick as redundant with Boutte but man this dude is kicking butt so far. I feel like he gets it so much that it’s less of a struggle for him to be productive early on than some others. So far he’s a camp hero…but we all know how this can change. Fingers crossed.

Man this defense is going to be outright nasty. Love the red zone smothering.

And the offense is going to be so much better because of it. Can't wait to see them play against another teams defense in joint practices.

Yep, Had Boute and Bolden as the late round sleepers after draft was over. So far, so good for Bolden. Love what he’s brought so far. Boute? Douglas? Just wanted someone to shine like this at that position. Didn’t really matter who it was. Hope provided.

Why? Why would you pass on a proven commodity because you hope a later round flier works out?
I’m not opposed to bringing in a veteran, I‘m just not a big Elliot fan, I think Harris or Strong can pick up one or two yards a carry.

Seems from at least one tweet that his teammates are fired up on him making plays. That sort of jumped out as something that's potentially different from previous camp heroes. His own peers on the field--not just reporters on the sidelines--- believe they may have something with him.

What separates Douglas from other WR late round early camp studs is that he got some snaps with the number one offense at the beginning of camp. I don't recall other guys like Nixon, being afforded the same honor/ recognition directly after OTAs.
