PATRIOTS TRAINING CAMP Patriots Training Camp: 7/26

I think we should give the offense a bit of a break.. they are going up against a stout, angry, disrespected defense each day in practice.
A bit of a break? Multi-million dollar contracts, year long training, and now we are supposed to give them a bit of a break? We are never going to win another Super Bowl.

No breaks, keep the heat on and let them figure it out. They’ll be better for it when and if they can strongly compete with these guys.
Juice boxes and orange slices between plays is a welcoming feature by this new regime.

Pete Carroll concurs

Well, the reporters reported that Judon got two sacks today going against Chuks. It seems like they’re already having blocking problems whether the pads are on or not.
I suspect it's easier to get 'sacks' when nobody is in pads or actually blocking anyone.

Patriots released Kaleb Ford-Dement. Roster at 88 plus their International player Jotham Russell.

Yes, we will. What I'm trying to say is this isn't even the real competition yet. That's Monday. Pop has been out. The defense is elite they are going to make every NFL offense struggle.

Even though it is normal for the defense to outclass the offense at this point in the season, it feels worse because what has happened the last two years when things never got better for the offense. All is not lost yet. If anyone needs to cheer up about the Pats, just check out the training camp notes for the Jaguars.

"Respect"... Seriously?

This team has already paid him $27M for the past 3 years, and is about to pay him another $8M for this year.

The word has now been cheapened by doGchow's use of it there.

They also didn't do the rest of the league any favors with that over-priced, prematurely-ejaculated extension they gave to Lawrence.

OK. We will see.

If it does not go well next week, are you going to say we have to wait until a real game to know?

Not sure if this has been posted yet. But here's a listen to the Patriots training camp Mic'd up.

It won't happen overnight but it's nice to see the boys working and trying to build up a winning culture at camp.

I honestly don't expect the offense to look anywhere as bad as it was last year. Unless you liked last years offense? So have some hope.

According to a lege coach ' one of the best D lineman in the league... but wait did he sign him or was he forced too?

There is a famous saying, "Hope is not a successful business strategy". Same thing applies here. "Hope is not a successful football team building strategy".
