The offense is better. Love the rookies and Mac is looking at all recievers. As Brady said my favorite receiver is the open one.

Hopefully we can get one or both Strange and Onwenwu back because we can't lose Trent too and Andrews is dealing with something too.
This might be the worst injury situation at o-line since BB took over the team in 2000

I can recall key players like Light, Koppen, Seabass, Woody, etc going on IR but we have multiple starters who are out or at risk of being out.

Crazy

Imagine if Strange and Onwenu both returned, but then Andrews and Brown were both out. Musical chairs.

It's frustrating because I think Sunday showed that this offense has answers for really good defenses as long as the line can get things blocked. A revolving door at multiple positions just makes continuity an ongoing grind.

Doesn’t help that JJSS isn’t 100% either. Maybe he’ll play more in the range for 70-80% this week without a muddy field. That would be a big help. We’re looking at a possible situation if where you’re down to the following:
1. 2nd string LT
2. 2nd & 3rd string Guards.
3. W/E we have at RT.
4. Down a starting WR.
5. Down that starting WR’s backup.
6. Another starting WR is hampered by injury and on a reduced snap count.

If that’s how it plays out, you just have to throw your hands up in the air and laugh. Hopefully we don’t sustain any major injuries, remain competitive, and can really turn it on once everyone gets back. I can’t remember the offense ever being this banged up week in and week out to start a season.

Very frustrating. Brown/Strange/Andrews/Mike/RT whomever is not a bad line at all. It can run and pass block pretty well.

Just out of reach right now.

We can live without Strange and Brown for a game, but not without Andrews. I hope he just has a sore hammy, not anything strained.
If we can play with: Anderson - Mafi - Andrews - Onwenu - Wheatley/Lowe it won't be ideal, but hopefully competitive.

Whoever is out there, I sure hope we get Rham & Zeke going early.
It would be nice to see Parker play this week.
And, I'm betting we never see Pop with a lesser stat line than 4/40 all year.

Agreed.. this is a crazy situation. This bares watching.. we may end up with all new starting 5 if things get worse... 2 guys in protocol, Andrews with hamstring issues.. WOW.. I don't want to speak to soon.. but this feels like it's going to be a situation all season long. No continuity on the O line is disastrous for any NFL QB no matter who the QB is. We face the jets defense 2xs, the cownboys D is no slouch.. could this be detriment of the 2023 season?

Has it been reported anywhere that Brown & Sow were diagnosed with a concussion?
Can a team put guys on the injury report when they just complain of symptoms, but still recover within the week?
Or is that ONLY as a result of the independent neural guys declaring it - meaning there's no way they play this week.

Today's report - especially with Onwenu & Andrews - is so critical. If we can have those 2, then we can survive with the others (I hope)

Glad Calvin Anderson is back he came back just in time. Mac needs a decent LT to be effective.

It has the potential. Teams can get by a handful of games with a backup but multiple starters......sheesh.
