Called this on Tuesday in the 10/24 thread, figured when they cut Cunningham it'd be to replace him with Reagor since Reagor was out of elevations, and putting Cunningham on the PS again would reset his elevation eligibility counter back to 3. Plus, Bill and BOB just seem to like Reagor in general.

He's been open quite a bit looking at the All 22
Hopefully him and Mac get something going

If Reagor takes on a bigger role over time, it's amazing how different (stylistically) the WR group would be than the one we assumed it would be at the start of camp. Going from Parker, JuJu, Bourne as your top three to Bourne, Douglas, Reagor is a wild shift.

Is this a case of a guy finally maturing enough to get with the program and play to his physical potential?

Could be any number of things (including what you said). Could also be a better scheme fit, or just less pressure on the guy because he's no longer really First Round Pick Jalen Reagor, he's PS elevation #4 WR Jalen Reagor. But also, while he's making progress and I like his potential, he hasn't exactly broken out yet. His attitude seems to be great though, at the moment, so hopefully he just keeps getting better and more comfortable.

Definitely. He probably should play over Parker eventually since he has actual speed. Parker still has some value, but maybe more as a possession guy on short curl/comeback type routes or toe-tappers on the sideline. Seemed like Parker was more of a package guy last week in short yardage (i.e. in the deep red zone last week) which sounds like a sensible usage.

Possession receivers have to actually catch the ball.

The thought just occurred to me that the Pats moved from one former Eagles first-round WR bust in 2022 (Agholor, drafted in 2015) to another former Eagles first-round WR bust in 2023 (Reagor, drafted in 2020).

He hasn't been bad catching the ball on shorter routes, it's the middle/deep passes that have been terrible for him. But on passes of less than 15 air yards, at least to my memory, he's been solid.

He's had a disturbing number of fumbles. Not toooo many drops, but they were seemingly at the worst possible times (like Agholor's 1 drop all season during the end of Cowboys game 2 years ago).

That being said, bring on the speed.

Agholor was not a "bust" in Philly but certainly didn't produce to this draft status

I called this a month ago and was laughed at.

I feel like I am taking a wait and see approach to this. Could be Jonas Gray or Mike Cloud all over again, too. Don't get me wrong, I would take a couple games like that from Reagor.
