I was looking at the list of vet QBs available when it was rumored they were looking around and McSorley was one of the few that kinda made sense if they were just looking for a camp arm who might be a passable QB2 in emergency. He's not very big, about 6 foot.

6 feet. 6 is more than 1 so the use of the plural tense of foot is feet.

I wonder if there’s any relation to Marty

He almost beat Tommy last year in a late December offensive pillow fight between Tampa and Arizona.

At a minimum, & needing a camp arm anyhow, McS. would seem able to mimic some of the running-threat aspects of top QB's, per stats. Maybe upside; doesn't preclude Pats drafting a more balanced backup QB talent in later round for "real" backup duties during season.

20 - 0 baby

Oh my god. That game was unwatchable.

His 42.5 rating, 0 TDs and 5 INTs on 83 attempts last year make this move a no brainer. Hats off to the Pats brain trust for this addition and their commitment to building a winning team.

Not sure what this could possibly be about…..McSorley sucks…..

They need a 3rd arm. Better to get one now to learn the playbook.
Why not just bring Garrett Gilbert back for another go around??? (not that he's anything special, but he's got exp with the book)

Lends more credence to the rumor they let Hoyer go because he dared question the genius of Patricia/judges offense

Or they let Hoyer go because of his cap hit..

Yeah he sucks.

well then...let's get blitzed! BOWL!!!

Yeah he sucks.

My God, what a STUPENDOUSLY INSIGHTFUL contribution to this discussion! Is that conclusion drawn from your own painstaking research, or an intuitive take based on decades of accumulated knowledge? I don't know how you do it. I can't help but see my own perspective swayed by such thoroughly authoritative observation. The final word pales in comparison to what you bring to the table.
