Looks like Hasty was indeed signed, and it's Jennings who is headed to IR.

The Patriots announced that they have signed RB JaMycal Hasty. In addition, the Patriots placed RB Terrell Jennings on injured reserve.

Interesting - though I interpret that as (hopefully) a move to shelve him for a few weeks into the season which gives them more time to tryout these guys too

Hopefully he's just got the Foxboro flu as he's been on the bubble anyway

Why would you want Miami Cast-offs like those 2? Or Parham for that matter?

IF Brown is out for any length of time, then they'll probably wait to see if Jaimes gets cut from the GIants. They've been working with Rupcich to cross-train at Center and they'll have him and Rizy battling it out for the 2nd/3rd C positions.

I seen ben brown and rupcich went down last night. Kinda thin there. If daniels is healthy he wouldn't be a bad reserve. And I do like rizy. He should.be getting a ton of reps right now. Id even try rizy as the 6th lineman or back up fullback like tonga did. Just in case Gilliam goes down. His built and athletic testing suggests he could excel there. Heck maybe pats find an under the radar trade to solidify depth at guard. An up and comer. Cuz onwenu might be gone next year. What does the defense look like with vita vea on it? A significantly better tonga milton & baremore will be having field days opens things up on the edge and for the inside lbs gives a more than capable secondary some easy plays who says no let's go

Rupcich left the game under his own power and was in the locker room after the game in good spirits. If he'd suffered any sort of long term injury, he wouldn't have been in the locker room. He'd have been in the training room and unavailable to the media.
