How do you know that Jennings moved into the 3rd spot? Because of an UNOFFICIAL depth chart that still had players on it that weren't on the roster anymore?

He was on the 90 man roster since the start of the season in March. You'be been following Football for how many years and you don't understand the difference between someone being added to the roster (new signing) and someone coming off the NFI/PUP?

I was an early proponent of the team from even preseason last year. I posted they were a super bowl team, but thought they would be a tough out in the playoffs.

I think many good things of this crop of younger players. I'm excited about the entire tackles group and was an early advocate of Wilson. I think last years draft was excellent, and that this years draft is superb so far (Jacobs looks an excellent UFA).

But I can read what happens, so sometimes it's negative. And this is.

The rookies(sorry young backs) should be playing almost 3/4rds of the game (combined at back).

Look at the FA acquisitions this year (edit since camp began). Every single one has been pretty much a young kid trying out for the big time. You said yourself during preseason we (team and us) would see how the young players were doing, and then fill in veterans where they need. These aren't high priced ones, but it's the only position they've added vets, let alone multiple. It's not like they suddenly needed two RBs for tonight. They're missing no one we know of. The same way I am excited about this not happening in other positions, this one tells me something.

I am not dismissing Hasty
he can be a legit 3rd or 4th option at RB if the Miller or Larison do not pan out, injure or hit a wall.

Hasty is only a legit 3rd/4th if Larison and Miller are injured. I fully expect the Pats to be scouring the Waiver wire at Cut downs for someone better than Hasty. Which shouldn't be hard to find.
