15 for 4 is super cheap.. I heard it's 15 a year.
I am certain it would be. There's no way Vrabel asked for only $3.75M per year.

15 for 4 years is chump change. BB was making 25 per year
BB's rate was astronomical, 15 is still on the high end for a guy but probably close to fair. I'd probably try to settle on 13...

I'm sure the Pats are using the Johnson interview as leverage right now with Vrabel to finalize his deal.

This is not a great look, this is where the Raiders or Bears now come in with a kill shot.
And they maybe willing to offer Johnson over 10 mill lol watch us lose both.

Here's the thing, if the Krafts love Johnson based on the zoom, while the Lions are in the playoffs, they're talking to his agent constantly. They're also exchanging messages and working through all of the details to make sure they're comfortable. Maybe they're even paying a visit to his house to meet him in person.

Let's not pretend that the rules on these hirings (much like the rules on free agency) are strictly followed or enforced.
It really isn’t fair to the Lions either.

They are trying to win a SB, as is the goal of all teams.

They are on the doorstep while having their OC distracted?

Don’t say it is just the bye week. He will be thinking about this up to the SB.

This happens every year where some coordinator has a wink-wink deal to become some other team's coach while going through the postseason. There's nothing they can do about it.

The team is worth billions of dollars. If you want Vrabel…be generous. You are paying Kyle Duggar 17 million per year

Lmao I was thinking the same thing.
Vrabel will be way more valuable than any player not named Gonzo Drake or Christian.

Didn’t Kraft just say he’d spare no expense for the team?

Christian sadly now is an afterthought. I don't think he will play again. We need to draft or develop his replacement.

He has been saying this for years. It is time to spend some of his billions and secure a qualified coach. Jim Harbaugh is getting 16 per year so 15 for Vrabel seems fair.
