That is so deep!
This mean mccourty and chung are back?
When McCourty is back, Moulden is the nickel. No matter how this season turns out, we will spend much of the off-season trying to figure out the logic of Belichick's transactions in the secondary this season.
Adams had more reps aginst Philly at corner than any corner except Arrington.
He's been our nickel back for several weeks.
How can Adams suddenly not be good enough to be Edelman's backup at nickel back? Molden is McCourty's backup, only getting significant reps if McCourty is out. As another posted, McCourty and Arrington are not playing nickel. Even if Moore were better at nickel than Adams, Moore is needed as the number #3 safety. And all this assumes that McCourty and Chung are back starting.
It seems that there must be more to the story than simply that Adams had moved down the depth chart to #7 or #8 defensive back. Surely, we would keep Adams as the #7 or #8 defensive back if that were the only issue.
ONE POSSIBILITY
Adams has been assured that he will be back (has he cleaned out his locker?). Belichick simply needed the roster spot to try some one out for a few days.
Malcolm Williams, welcome to the NFL

Perhaps the answer isn't how many snaps he played but HOW he played on them.
I don't recall his snap count being that high the last few games.
That tweet makes it almost certain that this was the result of something conduct related.
This is the coach who benches Wes ******* Welker for the start of a playoff game because of foot puns.
But I was refering to the previous games.CB Kyle Arrington – 73 of 73
S James Ihedigbo – 73 of 73
S/CB Sterling Moore – 64 of 73
CB Phillip Adams – 51 of 73
CB Antwaun Molden – 48 of 73
S Sergio Brown – 32 of 73
CB Julian Edelman – 16 of 73
You sound like you think discipline is a bad thing for a football team. That tweet makes it almost certain that this was the result of something conduct related.
