C'mon guys.
We'll be fine if Sanders, Jones and Amendola have the best seasons of their careers this year.
we need a trade for a big time WR.
No we don't. We need someone to replace lloyd. He wasn't a big time WR. Sanders can be that guy and they may be planning on that
You have got to be kidding me. Their 40 times do not equate to productivity. Branch is done, Welker is strictly a slot guy and Lloyd is a better deep WR than either Jones or Sanders (regaurdless of 40 time), but all three have production that dwarfs anything those two bums have done. Jones and Sanders are JAGS, nothing else.
Yep
If Sanders gets here and he can do stuff like this consistently, i'm more than ok with it

Welker, Talib situations.......

It was a perfect pass. He didn't beat anybody. Both defenders had him covered. Batch deserves the credit for that play.
Welker and Moss had no problem coming in and picking up the system.So, now Brady will need to start with a brand new set of receivers. Of course, one might that our offense is complex and few have come in and did great. Certainly draftees are unlikely to be stars in the their rookie years (or any other year for the patriots).
I still look to us signing at least one of last year's receivers: Lloyd, Edelman and Branch.
Given the situation, we probably need an addition wide receivers coach.
@sourceclosetothesituation patriots to re-sign Randy Moss #patsnationconfused
Yes, of course, we are counting on Sanders being an improvement over Lloyd, and Amendola/Jones to be an improvement over Welker/Branch/Edelman.
How reasonable is it to fail to take out any insurance. Lloyd would provide insurance in case ONE of the three projected top receivers doesn't work out in their first year with the team.
I love it. Love Moss he averaged 15.5 yards per catch, had 22 first downs on 28 catches.. He just turned 36 and he is the type of athlete that can still be special at a late stage in his career.
