I for one do not like to buy this stuff, because if the season ends badly, then I can't wear it for the negative connotations. I went to the Game-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named at the end of the 2007 season and bought a shirt at half-time (reluctantly, but I was trying to avoid standing in line at the end of the game). When I got home, I gave it away to Goodwill without even taking it out of the bag.

Heh, I bought a Pats vs. Giants Super Bowl hat in Phoenix before the game. Such was my state of confidence. Never wore the thing and this reminds me that I should try to unload it on eBay along with a few other items I'm weeding out. Speaking of which, I just sold the shirt below on eBay. I listed it at auction starting at $12 and it sold for $86 (!). If anyone here has advice on determining what's collectible and what's not, I'd like to know.
