Cause if so that's pretty weak. You'll never know what Drake can be until he has NFL talent around him.

For the time being, all he can do is gain valuable experience. All those sit Drakers out there were wrong. They were wrong in the spring and they was wrong in week 1.

He will be immensely better off next season for having played all these worthless games.

That's actually the best takeaway from this season, Maye is getting valuable experience.

I dont know why Jonathan gets a pass here. He's the biggest mover and shaker here and always has been. Not Bob.

He hired Mayo and moved Robyn Glaser over to the Pats. He is the one vocal about how BB can't be trusted. Jonathan never says 2 words for a guy in charge. I expect to see Thunder giving the 2024 Pats autopsy in the near future.

Mayo and the gang need to go completely right now. You put feelers out to possible HC candidates and tell them it's a black slate AND a blank check.

Get a real staff in there that is young, and hungry to turn Maye and Gonzo into superstars. There can't be an OC in the league right now that isn't seeing Maye and salivating about working with him. Use that to your advantage.

Absolutely agree! And that's a great strategy. PatsFan2 has won me over to Ben Johnson. He would be perfect for Drake and his development. We need a veteran seasoned DC as well someone like Steve Wilks who had that SF humming last season.

Upgrades is a non-sense word right now with this team.

You simply don't know who or what you have out there with this coaching ineptitude.

I'm just remembering the end of the Pete Carroll era and what we really thought about the players on that team.

We thought they were awful players.

The NFL GMs said the 2001 team had the worst talent in the NFL.

Until you get real coaching, you simply don't know what you have.

This doesn't mean that I believe our WRs or Vederian Lowe are any good. It does mean there are a lot of players on this team who might actually be pretty good.

Upgrades from the coaching to the roster is the perfect word unless you like what you see week in and week out. For example how imp coaching is last season we had an identical record but the defense was playing well. This team makes the same mistakes week in and out. Mayo looks frustrated with his staff his players. He knows he can't reach these guys and the "collaboration " isn't working. RK needs to realize he's made a mistake buy Mayo out his contact and get a real HC and real players in here.

I dunno I think it depends how much Rob values Jonathan’s input and advice over Mayos.
Is Rob mature enough to realize he made a terrible mistake.

They fired a guy with 8 Super Bowl rings for a HC that had never been a real coordinator, an OC who had never called plays, a DC who had never called plays and a GM who had never drafted anybody. Some. Fn rebuild. Think about how dreadful that is. A complete train wreck. Bob should sell.

I thought AVP called plays for Cleveland ….not that they were very good and he did get fired….but I thought he was calling them there. He has been atrocious….as have all coaches. All need to go Thunder!

I don't even like Hunter but by all considerations, he's gonna go in the top 5. Probably to the Patriots if this holds up.

Yes!!! Look at Buffalo outside of Allen they have no all pros on thier offense. But Joe brady calls plays to utilize Allen's strengths. They will drop 60 on us!

You don't know what kind of talent you have unless and until you fix the coaching. Only then can you decide you need to replace Marcus Jones or Mike Onwenu or Hunter Henry or Keion White. Players that played well last year are suddenly not playing well. That can't be because they all stopped playing well at the same time

To be clearer when I say upgrade I'm talking specifically at skill positions the tackle spots.. we have some good players. We just Don't have game changers. Barmore isn't 100% strange probably won't even play this season. The coaching as you said needs 100% fixing. So we will be 3-14 this season and they look worse than the record.

I agree about the tackles and WRs. You have to draft well to get those players.

That's the problem the drafting. We have lowe,Jacobs and other cast offs because of the drafting.
