If Gruden's continuing his firesale on all recent Raiders first rounders, I wouldn't mind taking Conley off his hands.
For an acceptable price, of course. Not sure if I’d go much higher than a 3rd, but it may take a 2nd.

I once went to the casino. Played a few hands of poker. Realized I can’t compete with people who have no regard for their $....

BB’s problem is that he is is competing against weirdos like Jerry who think Amari Cooper was worth a first rounder.

That trades just lunacy

Makes sense. We're getting by at CB2, but another really good player opposite Gilmore would change a whole lot. Maybe Clayborn would have more time to figure out he has to actually tackle the QB when he gets there.

I think the defensive position we would get the biggest overall boost from upgrading is defensive end, though. Just not as many good trade options. Even the CB names floating around are barely realistic for our cap situation except for maybe Conley who would not be a definite upgrade.

I'd rather go for another cheap trade in the vein of Akiem Hicks/Van Noy/Akeem Ayers. Value like that ostensibly doesn't come around every year, but for BB it kind of does. No idea which player it could be.

The key is to wait and get your money with the best hand, double up and get the hell out of there as quickly as possible.

Get Peterson. Do not let the Chiefs sign him.Give them a second rounder. You won't find someone as good as Peterson in the second. And we haven't been that great at drafting corners.

I wonder if that’s what they are up to

Patriots. They’ve been working out many and freeing up money for something

In what world does a reasonably priced, All Pro DB with 2 1/2 years remaining on his contract cost only a second round pick?

Who says the Chiefs are looking at Peterson?

Im curious what do the workouts have to do with a Peterson possibility?

It’s almost belichick subterfuge. Work out these eight, sign one no one thought of

Interesting how Bill wants to acquire a CB so bad.

Must mean J-Mac isn’t cutting it. And neither are Rowe or Jackson at that #2 CB spot.

Thought J-Mac at least looked decent in a few of his starts, but Bill must feel otherwise. Sure could be upgraded upon though, no doubt.

A world where you pair that 2nd with something else. It’s lookimg like there are a lot of suitors for him, so you’re most likely looking at a first, maybe even a first + a mid/late.

Problem is that 2 of the leading teams getting in the way of the Pats hoisting another Lombardi are the Chiefs and Rams who have a lot of WR talent.

Not hard to see how BB would think having another elite CB next to Gilmore instead of J-Mac would really help our chances.

Maybe he learned from the SB last year?
