It's easy, and only takes a few moments. If we didn't have so much to rebuild, I'd agree with you.Am I only one who looks at the past 5 drafts and says to myself "I actually would consider sending 3 firsts and 3 2nds for watson" Roast me.
2nd round picks are awful for us, just give them the next 7-8 years worth and call it a day lol. I was thinking about it last night, if they did something like that you could actually attract the FA wideouts like Galladay and Godwin. It would never happen but COVID and the cold winter has my mind going in all different directions. If we didn't have so much to rebuild, I'd agree with you.
Depends on if the guy sending us Watson was ultimately responsible for them. Can’t really be much of a coincidence that the drafts went from solid with Reese to one turd after another with Creepy Caserio.Am I only one who looks at the past 5 drafts and says to myself "I actually would consider sending 3 firsts and 3 2nds for watson" Roast me.
Even just so Bill won't get a DB in the second.2nd round picks are awful for us, just give them the next 7-8 years worth and call it a day lol. The Floyd Reese angle is something I never considered. Cant really argue against the fact those drafts kept the dynasty goingDepends on if the guy sending us Watson was ultimately responsible for them. It won't ever happen but if Rodgers becomes available you NEED to do everything possible to get him.I wonder if Aaron Rodgers is secretly on the block?
He would save Green Bay $22M as a post June 01 trade.
They have their pick from last year.
Rodgers would most likely be beyond motivated to prove the was coaching and the organization that has kept him to only one ring.
You're not the only one. Bill's draft's since 2013 have been pretty bad. In fact, the drafts from 2009-2012 is what kept the train running and signing mid level veterans to help cover up the draft blunders starting with Dom Easley. But here's the problem, Watson has a no trade clause and will most likely reject going to the Pats.Am I only one who looks at the past 5 drafts and says to myself "I actually would consider sending 3 firsts and 3 2nds for watson" Roast me.

Pushing the GOAT out of the organization was a bad move and any worthy QB will take note of that.
I really liked Tre' Jackson and was better than Shaq Mason, but that nagging knee injury derailed his career. Would've been a really good pass blocking Guard. What a shame. The 2015 draft was a decent draft. Malcolm Brown didn't live up to his draft position, but was a decent starter. Nothing special, but decent. But Trey Flowers played like a first rounder. So he made up for that. Shaq Mason was a steal in the 4th. Clearly wasn't one of their best drafts, but they got three starters in that draft with two of them being above average to very good starters.

Flowers was a very good 4th round pick, but playing like a 1st rounder is a stretch. Evan Lazar talked about how Flowers had the most unblocked pressures in 2018 and was on the brink of calling him overrated but he said he couldn't do it.
Thuney was obviously a great find in the 2016 draft. With that said, the last all pro or pro bowl player drafted that wasn't a special teamer was Jaime Collins. No game changing talent on either offense or defense. That's not good.
End of the first round fine, but Flowers is not a game changing talent and that contract from Detroit was out of pure desperation by Patricia. Rumor was he was very desperate to get someone to be the buffer as he was losing the locker room fast. I will be shocked if he's not a cap casualty this year. That was one of the worst contracts in recent memory.Flowers definitely played like a first rounder. Maybe not like a top 15 pick, but certainly like a pick where the Pats usually pick in the late 20s or at the end of the first round. He didn't get five years, $90 million from Detroit for nothing. Sure the Lions were stupid to pay him that, but he was a solid starter here.
Yeah that one ring and consistent post season failures are gotta have stuffIt won't ever happen but if Rodgers becomes available you NEED to do everything possible to get him.
