He's talking about how irrate ownership is with the state of the team and the direction. I can't remember a time as a fan I've wanted the season to be over an done with. For the first time in years I'm looking for other games to watch other than our own. I think BB knows this is it..Interesting …. Sounds like he’s disappointed in the receivers, am I reading that wrong ? He definitely emphasized lack of consistency at the wide out position..
That's what I meant why would he choose to come backBecuase the TE market isn't that great, and he's a guy that I feel could be a benefit in this offense under a new coaching staff and QB. But then again it would be his choice to want to return
I understand. It would all depend on how the rest if the season went as well even thought it won't be much different than the first half. But he really likes it here. However I'm sure he'll likely sign elsewhere where he has a realistic chance to win. That's what I meant why would he choose to come back
Agreed. Outside of Douglas and KB.. hard pressed to see any of these guys back next season. I think they just outright cut Parker and try to trade juju for a 6th rounder? It seems our WR group should be loose and having fun - this might be the last 7 games of some of their careers.
Parker, JSS, TT, Reagor - it's their last chance to show they're worth being on someone else's PS next year.
I would add Boutte - it's worth seeing what he could develop into. I'd like to see more of him in games this year.Agreed. Outside of Douglas and KB.. hard pressed to see any of these guys back next season. I think they just outright cut Parker and try to trade juju for a 6th rounder?
As great a coach BB has been. I just feel like it's time for a more modern approach. He'll never publicly up his players, look at Dan Campbell. Those guys play hard for him and he's the type of coach young guys can gravitate with in 2023 NFL. Boutte is a rook and he's shown more making mistakes in his first game than anything Parker or juju have done all season long.I would add Boutte - it's worth seeing what he could develop into. Because chances are it will be a new HC here next year. And, I'd love Bourne to stay with Pop.
Personally I don’t mind this year. Way less stress losing and just hoping to ruin another fan base weekend. We’ve been to 11 super bowls in less than 40 years. That’s bonkers .. love the fact that the Bills have put together such a powerhouse and have nothing to show for it. KC still has many years left to match what the Pats did.. they will fall. We will be back. We definitely will never duplicate what happened in the last 20 years. I’m not 100 % sure Bill will be gone. I’m not sure anyone is.Rob ninkovich on YouTube has a segment. Please explain to me how BBs systems are not modern? I've heard this a lot from reporters too and I think it's just lazy and inaccurate. You can go back through the whole run and every few years there is shift in the concepts he uses.As great a coach BB has been. I just feel like it's time for a more modern approach. Wonder if he will make changes at other positions too. Or start playing guys in a rotation.
Would it matter this year? Let's start next year fresh.Doubt it. Teams still in contention are firing Coordinators; yet Billy couldn't have been bothered with firing even one of his incompetent Special olympics Teams ass-istants during their bye fortnight... More likely than not the same 22 stiffs who started in Frankfort will start at Exit-16W, as if the last 3 games never happened... Just as Billy wants us to believe.
