We don't know what the future holds for Wes Welker. If Welker leaves after 2012, Ebert would be a better bet than Edelman. Ebert played slot receiver
in college while Edelman was a quarterback. Edelman had only 7 receptions
last year and has not stood out this preseason.

Fair points, though I still feel that Ebert would be better-served on the PS, not the 53.

You know, how much does it just suck that the big cut-down day comes three days after rookie haircuts.

The 75-man roster every year is filled with a dozen undrafted rookies, of which usually one makes the roster, and another six-eight make the practice squad.

Everyone else faces a sad cut.
And an odd appearance for the interviews coming up.
