I want to do enough in free agency at OL and WR that we can afford to take the best DL in the draft. I think typically that's one of the better uses of a top 5 pick other than QB.

We ignored D in last year's draft and without Barmore the D has struggled. I don't want to only rely on Barmore coming back I want more and I think a young DL would be a huge boost to the whole D and would go farther than anything else to help this team out.

I agree.

At DT, Barmore may or may not come back at 100%. Godchaux is a fine starter. Pharms is an OK backup.

At DE, Wise may or may not be back. Ekuale is not very good.

I liked his signing when it first happened a couple of years ago; but more injuries, and ineffectiveness proceeding therefrom, have made him a shell of what a healthy McMillan could've become. All of our other LBs suck too, but I'm not losing too much sleep over this particular cut.
