Yes and so they were not in FG range...so Mac should have been given the green light to go for it. It was 4th and 3 against a hobbled secondary not 4th and 8 against the Steel Curtain. If he doesn't get it so what it's not the end of his career. At least he'd know the coaching trusted him to make a clutch play. I also question if they would have made a stop on Brady when they needed to if that kick was good. They hadn't done that all year.Agreed. Lavonte David block on Mac's 3rd down attempt saved the game for them. We had a receiver wide open and would have gotten us into FG range.
Anyone but me notice how it is always the haters - and not the supporters - who hijack every thread into one about the Bucs and Brady? If the Bucs and Pats end up in the same place in their divisions this year, Tampa is coming to NE in 2023...I can't see Timmy sticking around in Tampa if that's the case. They were missing Gronk that game, but we were missing Trent Brown as well as a few others. All in all, it was a great showing by the D. People on this board thought the Bucs were going to put up 40 on us.

I mean seriously.... what does the above have to do with the subject of this thread??
Well then consider it a public service how I accurately pointed out that the haters bring Brady into these threads far more often than any supporters do.
I do not think it is an either/or situation. I think the person calling the plays will differ at various points during the season. So I predict there will not really be a single OC or DC. The responsibilities of the OC/DC will shift amongst the coaching staff. So this means Judge or Fat Matt are going to be calling plays on offense? Or more of a collective effort ?

We are having a thread about the 2022 New England Patriots coaching staff and their respective titles and duties. You decide to chime in with an analysis of the Bucs-Pats game from last October. All you are doing is proving my point. You're just not smart enough to realize it.
Didn't Rob and Rex Ryan work with Buddy on the same team? Don't recall that being a huge controversy. Or maybe they didn't.
I think blaming OC/DC is always a copout.
The talent on the D was overrated from Day 1.
They shut down crappy offensive teams and good ones crushed them.
In before people try to say points are irrelevant in a football game.Since Flo left they've finished #1, #7, #2 in points against.
The best DC on the planet is the HC. Baby Bill and Mayo carry out the orders.
It would be unwise to F with it.
Weather.their best defensive showing last year was against Brady and the Bucs...
Weather....The defense was good against the Bucs...
...and the Weather.Bucs game - Their best effort last year. Although I think Tom was a bit too amped and they were missing Gronk.
Yes.... you take every conceivable opportunity to bring Brady and the Bucs into every single conversation on this forum. Then you turn around and whine like the little b*tch you are about how much people on this forum talk about Brady and the Bucs.Idiot, someone brought up the Pats D from last year and I mentioned both the Pats/Bucs and Pats/Bills games as their best performances...
