Haynesworth redux. Don't think this will work out.
If Winslow lasts as long as Haynesworth did, then Hernandez will be back before Winslow is gone.

What is the cost of letting one player hold up a franchise? How do you measure that? If they give in to Waters, every decent player will be able to use him as a precedent in future negotiations: "Give me another million or I'm not coming to camp. NO? Why not? You did it for Waters".

????
Haynsworth stayed until Deaderick and Brace came back from the PUP list.
My point is that Winslow doesn't need to work out long term, just long enough for Hernandez to get healthy.
And the minute Brady goes on IR because that marshmallow of a lineman named Donald Thomas can't handle fast pass rush guys like Dumervil ect: who pushes Donald away with a thump and sends Brady into next tuesday...you will be eating crow my friend.

”Greg Schiano came in [and said], ‘Toes on the line! Toes on the line!’ Blowing the whistle. You can’t laugh. You can’t joke around. So I decided not to go to OTAs.
With regard to Winslow, the New England Patriots have other options (a couple down the line) at the tight end position:Does Winslow?
I'm not sure, but by his own words he wanted out of Tampa in part because his new coach was just too demanding for his tastes.
Winslow says he “had to roll” because of Schiano’s ways | ProFootballTalk
Hopefully, Lex Hilliard.I'll repeat the above question...
WHO GETS CUT TO SIGN KELLEN ???
I'd cut either Hilliard or Hoomanawanui.
