I think we all know that Winslow is a body fill in at the position at this point in his career and not much more with those knee problems.

Winslow is not going to keep DCs up all night trying to plan on shutting him down.....Hernandez is a nightmare to plan for,even more so than Gronk.

No one will be forgetting Hernandez with Winslow in the game,I assure you.

Connolly is perfectly capable and should be back this week. If Thomas were the best they have, it would potentially be a different scenario.

With regard to Winslow, the New England Patriots have other options (a couple down the line) at the tight end position:

Daniel Fells
Jake Ballard (PUP List)
Visanthe Schiancoe (IR "Exempt" List)

Worst case scenario, Winslow will be cut once Hernandez returns to action.
