Patriots make series of roster moves ahead showdown vs. Browns originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston
Help is on the way for the New England Patriots along the offensive line, but the club also took a hit at linebacker Saturday.

Prior to Sunday's Week 10 contest against the Cleveland Browns, the Patriots activated offensive tackle Trent Brown from injured reserve and placed linebacker Jamie Collins on IR. In addition, the team elevated tight end Matt LaCosse and linebacker Tashawn Bower from the practice squad ahead of the Browns game.

I hope he goes back to Left tackle

Would be so on-brand and idiotic of this offensive staff to move Onwenu back to LG.

Wynn-Onwenu on the left side does not work.
OLine was a total disaster the first 6 weeks, where the team had a 2-4 record.

Keep Mike Onwenu at Right Tackle, where the team has gone 3-0 since.

PFF article: Michael Onwenu was a Top10 NFL RT in 2020

"Once Scarnecchia saw the talent, thought left tackle was the best fit for Trent Brown."... Brown had been a right tackle with the 49ers, but once Scarnecchia watched him daily in practice, the move to the left side was obvious.

Collins has a good game and then goes to IR. That sucks. But the Pats could sure use Brown at LT.

Was JC on the Injury report? He started to show off huge improvments last week

Trent Brown is obviously our LT. No chance they change anything on the right side.

Brown makes sense at LT. But do they have the balls to move Wynn ? Nope. And they still keep fixating that Onwenu is a LG only.

Through 9 weeks it should be non-controversial and blatantly obvious that a left side of Wynn-Onwenu does not work, and that the last 3 wins with Onwenu at right tackle solidified the OLine. But keep drinking the kool-aid for this staff of a team that hasn't been good since November 2019

was it after celebrating the INT?

Very surprised to see him active already, let’s gooo

He is not ONLY a LG. He is better at G than at T.

For the team the entire OLine is BETTER with Onwenu at right tackle. Don't even try to pretend the OLine wasn't total trash the first 6 weeks. Basic stunts were getting past Wynn-Onwenu. Wynn was barely a NFL player playing next to Onwenu

Its settled... Trent brown us either our blocking tight end or fullback
