I picked 7 wins before but not how it would happen. Here is my guess

Week 1: Sunday, September 11 at Dolphins - L
Week 2: Sunday, September 18 at Steelers - W
Week 3: Sunday, September 25 vs. Ravens - L
Week 4: Sunday, October 2 at Packers - L
Week 5: Sunday, October 9 vs. Lions - W
Week 6: Sunday, October 16 at Browns - W
Week 7: Monday, October 24 vs. Bears - W
Week 8: Sunday, October 30 at Jets - L (Our shocking loss for the year)
Week 9: Sunday, November 6 vs. Colts - L (edit - I changed this to a win cause it was close and i miscounted. Back to a loss it goes. I think this is a 49/51 though. Not high on the Colts clearly).
Week 10: BYE WEEK
Week 11: Sunday, November 20 vs. Jets - W
Week 12: Thursday, November 24 at Vikings - L
Week 13: Thursday, December 1 vs. Bills - L
Week 14: Monday, December 12 at Cardinals - W (Our big upset of the year)
Week 15: Sunday, December 18 at Raiders - L
Week 16: Saturday, December 24 vs. Bengals - L
Week 17: Sunday, January 1 vs. Dolphins - W
Week 18: Date TBD at Bills - L

That's 8-9

That's 8-9
Fixed. I changed the colts game cause I thought I needed another win and i consider that one a coin toss pretty much. So I guess I have them at 7.5 wins really.

I think I'm leaning towards agreeing with you on the Jets game. They're due unfortunately :(

Like with every NFL season, outlooks could change depending on injuries, in-season acquisitions, etc. but as of right now...

90-100% chance of losing:
@Green Bay L
Buffalo L
@Las Vegas L
@Buffalo L

75% chance of losing:

@Minnesota L
@Arizona L

60% chance of losing:

@Miami L
@Pittsburgh L

50/50 games:

Baltimore W
@Cleveland W
Indianapolis W
Cincinnati L

60% chance of winning:
Miami W

75% chance of winning:

Chicago W
@NYJ W

90-100% chance of winning:

Detroit W
NYJ W

Like one of eleven teams they catch a break with Watson's suspension, otherwise @Cleveland would be a 75% chance of losing, but the 50/50 games I'll say 3-1 there... final record:

8-9

With that however I would put the max win total for the season at 10 games... their away schedule is just too difficult.

Thank you everyone, my goal was to hit 100 responses, as of 9/7 we were at 120+. This is a large enough sampling to see how folks are feeling.

As a 9/7 at 10:30 AM the board is full of **** eyed optimists with over 61% predicting a winning season. Well done, now lets see how real life plays out.

Not necessarily tooting my own horn here, as someone tipped me off with a checkmark, but damn I nailed this one! Makes up for some of my not so accurate predictions.

This was my exact prediction for this year, too, and I made it on September 5, 2022. Was this before or after you made your prediction?

Not that it matters much, as this isn't a competition.

I'm pretty sure you had them going 16-1 and the one loss coming by way of resting players in week 18 against the "inferior" Bills.

Waffled between 8 and 9, but I ended up picking 8 and it feels bad to be right on this one.

Hope next year goes better.

8-9. I'm expecting them to just be another team in the NFL this year, but I'll still watch every game and hope for the best.

Good to know. I'll say 17 wins next time.

I don't have my game by game prediction, but I started the season assuming we'd win 8 or 9.
Man, it would've been nice to have a winning record though.

I forget, but I think I was in the group of 21.0% at the center of the distribution that predicted nine wins...maybe that's what the red check at the top of my thread means.

38% or so picked eight or less. Shout out to the 16.1% who nailed the eight wins. Love hurts, but you all got it right!

An optimistic 41% or so had them with 10 or more wins.

So, all in all, except for the 22% or so of Homers who picked 11 or more wins (luv you all!), I think the Board showed that this is a pretty objective group.

I picked 9. They were 1-2 plays away from that.

I picked 10. I didn't think the Patricia experiment would be such a faceplant.

Pretty much figured:

Team is good enough for 10. With terrible luck and/or a lot of things go wrong, 8. With the football gods favor, 12.

So I don't think I was way off, but certainly thought we'd be better.
