Venezuelan born Andres Borregales hitting the game winner last night sparked a question of foreign born players who played for the Pats.

A few come quickly to mind:

* Sebastian Vollmer - OL - Germany
* Richard Tardits - LB - France
* John Smith - PK - England

There are many more. I thought it'd be interesting to name them.

John Smith....edit: I guess I should have finished reading before I tried to drop the OG.

I can't believe no one's mentioned Terrible Fullback Jakob Johnson.

Who was also good...for 2 years. That was a weird stretch of punters.

Until last night I'd have argued Barringer was our only All Pro worthy player

to name a few...

Mosi Tatupu, Pago Pago, American Samoa

Tim Tebow, Makati City, Philippines

Nelson Agholor, Lagos, Nigeria

Amos Zereoue, Ivory Coast

Charlie Gogolak, Budapest, Hungary

Wasn't N'Keal Harry born in Haiti?

How can you guys forget him?

I doubt we ever will, no matter how hard we try. BTW IIRC he was born in Canada although I know he spent time as a child in St Vincent

It's my understanding that TARDITS is bigger on the inside.

Patrick Chung: Kingston, Jamaica

Rohan Davey: Clarendon, Jamaica

Jermaine Eluemunor: London, UK
