Am I the only one that finds the "no significant city" comment both insulting and ignorant. Leave it to people who can't get into Boston's schools to be so ignorant about Boston's significance. The fact that our team is called the Patriots should give them a hint, but Jets fans, understandably, aren't big fans of history.

Amen. Somebody should send this to Ron Borges. Borges is so self-centered that he has spent a decade being offended by one of the three greatest coaches in NFL history because Belichick sees no edge to winning the next game in the media. It's sad that a Jets fan had to hit this particular nail on the head, but it is so correct. Ron Borges should move to an insignificant city in New Jersey and report on the Jets for his personal fulfillment.

In fairness, Boston needs to be judged on its metropolitan area as well, not just the city proper. Otherwise we'd have to exclude accomplishments in Cambridge, Lexington, Concord ... and Foxborough.
