Out-coached?

Yes, I think that we were out-coached. To me, it is the responsibility of the OC and other offensive coaches to make game plans and call plays, keeping in mind the strengths, weaknessess, and effects of injuries to each of the players on the offense.

If Brady cannot efficiently make certain plays, THEN THOSE PLAYS SHOULD NOT BE OPTIONS, at least until Brady is more able to make such plays. My gut feel is that Brady is much more in charge of the offense than he should be.

Charlie understood these principles. Josh understood them.

So its not Brady's fault he had a bad game? its the OC coordinators? Ive read some silly stuff but this is the silliest. They were outplayed plain and simple, they executed when they had to, we didnt

I agree 100%.

When Romeo Crennel and Charlie Weis were with the Patriots, they
were among the lowest paid coordinators in the NFL. The Patriots have now lost their replacements, McDaniels and Eric Mangini.
Dean Pees and Bill O'Brien are probably the best coaches available
for short money. With the exception of veteran special teams coach,
Scott O'Brien, the position coaches the Patriots have hired recently
have been coaching assistants. Maybe, the Patriots are getting
just what they deserve coaching wise.

The money for Patriot place had to come from somewhere ... didn't it?

seriously I think Pees is doing a good job ... lots of turnover and decent results. Bill O'Brien ... I am not sold on. I think Bill should have gone with Chad O'Shea but what do I know.

You misunderstand my position a bit.

Of course, it is Brady's fault! It is also the fault of whoever is calling the plays and devising the game plan. Personally, I would not be surprised if Brady alos shares a lot in that aspect of the fault.

They were a couple of plays done properly from winning yesterday, in a game like yesterdays the margin between winning and losing is razor thin. I know everyone wants to find a reason or reasons for a loss but ultimately it comes down to making the plays. We know we have a proven HC and im sure he wouldnt put people in a position if they couldnt handle it. The players simply didnt make enough plays, plenty of blame to go around.

We all should credit the defense of the jets and that of broncos. They played very well indeed.

But I do NOT think that our greatest of head coaches is putting the offense in the best position to succeed. And of course, any member of the coaching staff know 1000 times what I know. However, may I still be so bold as to say that I understood when Brady was restricted in the plays he was allowed to run early in his career and Cassell was restricted last year. I think that we take some pressure off Brady by running more and reducing the play book. Only the coaches really know what plays or situations need to be simplified or eliminated.

My suspicion is that the #1 team expert on Brady can execute is Brady himself. I don't think that this should be the case. The coaching staff exists for a reason.
