So we will know on the 13th if there’s a new CBA, which presumably would increase the chances of Brady staying.

I think there’s a silent majority amongst the players. The stars don’t like it but those making league average or less do, so I think it’ll pass.

I also think this is what NE is waiting for with regards to Brady. If it passes, they can structure things a whole heckuva lot differently than if it doesn’t.

I think NE HAS to wait for it. They’d be crazy to proceed on Brady without knowing the parameters under which they can structure a contract.

The significant increase in the minimum salary makes it likely it will pass. Smooth move by management to put that in there to drive the (everpresent) wedge between two classes of player.

I think Nate Solder makes the right read on this. The players at the top of the food chain don't like it, but FINALLY we see a CBA that improves the lot of the great majority of players. My guess this passes by a 70 to 30 percent margin.

BTW - a usual the owners are the biggest winners on this CBA, but its still nice to know that the JAGS of the league win too.

I hope the CBA vote passes...

The contract approval is necessary for all contracts, including a WR, TE or any QB.

I think it will pass, it was a clever move to bump the salaries of the players that get minimum salaries and get a big chunk of votes
Makes sense to wait the new cba for Brady contract and I think there is a understanding of this between him and the Patriots. The rest is mostly media circus
