Describing an entire profession like this looks like anger to me

Especially when there is credible evidence it wasn’t them.
I'm describing the workforce in general. Immaturity is everywhere.

In the workforce as a whole, sure, in people who have attained the management responsibilities you mentioned in an industry where you compete every day and work 18 hour days, I disagree.
The 21 year old who made the call is immature.
The 48 year old who played 9 years in the NFL and has coached for 16 including 5 as DC or HC, I seriously doubt.

As much of a jerk as Sanders is, he did not deserve this. Remember that this is one of the most important days in the life of these players, and it sucks to have it ruined (temporarily) by some punk kid. Of course if I was that age...naw I was not that bad. Remember Stern's BABA BOOEY--I think they pranked Monday Night Football, but that is not nearly as serious as this.

I’m sure this has happened many times over the years with friends playing jokes on friends, they are 21 year old kids.
Gronk didn’t believe it was BB he was sure someone was pranking him
If this wasn’t the biggest self made victim in the history of the draft there wouldn’t even be a story.

What really hurt is the Sanders clan believing Shedeur should go top 5 and he went in the 5th. That's really what hurt along with them having a showboat, flashy and primetime celebrity mentality of how they go about things. I don't know much about Shedeur. I have no idea if he's a nice kid or a jerk. But Deion can rub you the wrong way when he needs to tone it down. If they were shifted more toward the quiet and humble side, this prank wouldn't be near as funny. But it's funny to me because of how I perceive Deion and how he's always presented himself. The prank call is just more hot coals to this already upsetting draft for them.

Remember for this to be an issue Shedeur had to tell the league about it and complain

The real question: should he banned from Falcons and/or Browns facilities or forced to attend all of their games? (Or worse, JEST games.)

Obviously the kid didn’t care how it would look on his dad if this came out.

“Earlier in the week, Jax Ulbrich, the 21-year-old son of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, unintentionally came across the draft contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders off an open iPad while visiting his parent's home and wrote the number down to later conduct a prank call,” the Falcons said in their statement.
How do you unintentionally write down confidential information for the purpose of making a prank call. Everything about it was intentional and malicious.

Don't know Shadeur Sanders, and from what I hear he was a jerk during interviews. But this is the kid's lifetime career opportunity. So the prank call to say he got drafted when he wasn't goes a bit too far here.

Prank culture is seriously stupid. Stop messing with people.

I thought the same thing. I think it means the kid unintentionally saw the phone number meaning the Dad didn't intentionally share it with the son. Probably lawyer language.

If they had got his number some other way, like through an old friend or someone he screwed over in the past, then I think it would’ve been funny. The way they got it, IMO is what makes it messed up. Prank calls have been around as long as the telephone. Sanders didn’t help him self.

Ever see the one where the guy uses two phones to call different Chinese restaurants at the same time, puts the phones together ,then they talk to each other both trying to take an order thinking the other is trying to place an order. Now that was funny.

Im not sure a lawsuit would get very far. After all, sanders uploaded the video himself. Kind of hard to scream defamation.

Agree. But the company statements are always written by lawyers 100% of the time these days.

Dumb thing to do by the kid, but it’s not the crime of the century.

All I know is that if it had been the son of a Patriots staffer, we'd have lost next year's first round pick by now and been dragged by the media incessantly for the past 24 hours

The cries of nepotism I'm not sure which would be worse.

I can't remember when the last time was I read a straightforward, sincere apology, one that wasn't structured along the lines of "I'm sorry you took offense at my action." Jax was indeed a dumbass but he owned it like a man.

Goes without saying Goodell will steal another first rounder from the Pats for this

Sheduer is going have the last laugh he already driving a Rolls-Royce.
