Kid really look like he didn't know what we was doing. Sheduer is already playing with House money.

The Browns are on the Pats 2025 schedule.

Wonder if Sanders will be the QB.

Are you suggesting this kid is going to be a good NFL QB?

So a douche pranked another douche? Understandable he would be upset but dude has been a bit of a nob so….karma?

I think it’s pretty stupid for a 21 year old, but why are we saying it’s a cruel move ? Like, he got pranked. He didn’t lose an arm, a parent, or his freedom.

While not reaching the level of Tyreek Hill, I’ll be rooting against Shedeur. I hope he’s embarrassed & exits the league unceremoniously.

It definitely was cruel. Imagine getting punked on your most anticipated life-changing event ever. Shedeur might be a douche, but nobody deserves something like that.

What I'd like go know is how Ulbrich handled things with his kid. It's not every day a boy's childish nonsense costs his dad $100k.

I guess I don't see it as cruel as you guys... so he thought he was going to NO because of a prank call, but he's playing in the league - if he makes the grade - in Cleveland. No one lost an eye. I don't see the huge life changing implications. I can think of many personal challenges that are far more difficult to overcome and I'm certain other posters have faced similar hardships.

This ****y loser got a bad phone call. Don't really care.

Well, look at it this way....if you were interviewing for the job of your dreams which was going to pay 10X over your previous job, someone called and said you got it only to learn you were punk'd, i'm betting you would be furious.

a 21 year old kid pulled an immature prank?

I’m sure this has happened many times over the years with friends playing jokes on friends, they are 21 year old kids.

When this news story first broke, I assumed that the “kid” in question was maybe in middle school. It turns out he’s actually a 21-year-old man, and I’m little puzzled that he’s still being treated like a child.

He's got a lot better chance than the absolute bum they drafted in the 3rd round ahead of him, I'll say that much.

I really don't think so. I think he's probably a Mac Jones level back up, but with all the ego is father could instill.

Lost in this is that Jeff Ulbricht has to wake up every day forever with the indisputable knowledge that his son is a complete dipshit loser.

I get the league caring about this. I think the bigger concern than the prank though is how the kid got his private info in the first place. The prank aspect of it gets people on their soapbox with emotion and makes it a funny story people want to engage in, but it's the privacy breach that I think is something to take seriously.

This sounds kind of ridiculous but what if he was engaged and instead of a coach's son it was a coaches daughter who took the number to hit on him and his fiance saw it and it led to a huge fight that hurt their relationship. Again, silly example but it's not exactly something that could never happen either. These kids should feel their privacy is taken seriously and the NFL is right to hold their people up to that end of the bargain.

Time will tell, but as of today, I will respectfully disagree.
Sanders will probably never start as many games as jones has.

He may not see an active roster, ever.
