I'll allow you to take a mulligan on that one.
fair enough.

I do exaggerate. However,

1) Lamar came into the league as a running back who could pass.

2) He developed into a pocket passer and runner who did best when flushed out of the pocket.

3) Lamar became a very good pocket passer.

40 IMHO, BAL will succeed best if the plan is for the Offense to pass first, with designed runs always an option. Lamar will still likely make the biggest difference on his run plays. However, if he is to control his number and seriousness of his injuries, he will need to focus on his passing.

I can't stand the Ravens but I do think Harbaugh is a quality coach. This move sets them back and works in our favor imo.

I hope whoever they hire is a disaster. Living here in MD, this fanbase is entitled and thinks they should be hoisting the Lombardi trophy every year. They've been pining to get rid of Harbaugh for a long time and I always tell them, you don't even know what's on the other side and could very well be worse.

He's not a winner. That's a fact. Therefore not an elite qb. I don't care what anyone says.
I think he’s a dangerous weapon, I just wouldn’t want him as my starting QB. His inability to pass from the pocket is the kiss of death in the postseason.

His lifetime winning percentage is .704. Among QBs with > 100 starts that’s 6th all time.
Now show us his postseason record and stats?

Only the Colts play to hang regular season banners….

It’s that pesky 3-5 in the post season that blows your argument up.

A Butterfingers TE let him down last year in Buffalo. Andrews muffed a basket catch twice: the last one would force OT. Lamar can't throw it and catch it.

The prevailing thought around here by some of the experts is that Lamar sucks. I am no part of that crew: Lamar is a legitimate NFL QB. The same experts around here would say glowing things about Josh Allen who hasn't won $h1t either.

Those are called excuses.

Allen has won more than twice as many playoff games.

Because Lamar is the reason why his receiver dropped a basket catch: and a Kicker missed chip shot FG. Such unbiased reasoning some of you.

And some of you would ballwash him and $h!t on Lamar. To each his own I guess.

Allen's 7-6 in the playoffs.

What are you even talking about? So because he's barely above .500 and Jackson is barely below .500 - Allen is god and Jackson sucks. Got it.

Ignoring Lamar’s multiple turnovers earlier in games and blaming it on desperation plays at the end of games is where you are wrong.

If not for Lamar’s poor play early the team wouldn’t be in the do or die situation late. Lamar turned it over twice in the game last year, one Andrews drop isn’t why they lost.

See ^ the experts on Lamar I rest my case your honor.

The next BS that will come from this forum is Mac Jones is the next Sam Darnold: and is superior to Lamar. Yeah I'm waiting for it Wozzy.

You'd think by now you would have learned there's more to being great in the NFL besides being phenomenally athletic, your holiness. The simple fact is they haven't gotten it done under his watch. He's 3-5 in his career, and he did not have to go thru Tom Brady to do it. We can point to coaching and team building all we want, but at some point, players play. He's a great athlete, but so far, he hasn't gotten it done in the post season. That's where legacies are made, and thus far, he's not a winner.

I'm not a hater, your grace. He's got great numbers in season and post season, except one place: the win column. You want to stack stats and win fantasy games or do you want to win Lombardis? Rhetorical, we all know what you want.

Unfortunately they won't go where I want them to, since relegation isn't a thing in the NFL.
